Accountants at Lantmännen Biorefineries

Within the Energy Division, we gather activities that develop and produce renewable energy, biofuels, and circular solutions based on agricultural resources. The division consists of several companies, including Lantmännen Biorefineries AB and a number of smaller subsidiaries and affiliated companies in Sweden and Denmark.

We are now looking for two Accountants for the finance function at Lantmännen Biorefineries AB within the Energy Division, responsible for several of our smaller companies, where you will have a varied and developing role with significant responsibility.

Your Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will work broadly with accounting for several subsidiaries within the division, including Agro Recycling Oy, Agro Recycling Denmark, companies in biogas, and Kongens Kvarter. The role encompasses the entire accounting chain from ongoing bookkeeping to year-end closing, and you will work closely with both the business and other finance functions within the group.

You will be responsible for accounts receivable and payable, ongoing accounting, account reconciliations, accruals, as well as monthly and annual closings. The assignment also includes work with VAT and tax declarations, reporting to the group, and participation in annual reports. Since the companies are smaller in structure, the role offers great variation and the opportunity to work closely with the overall process.

You will be part of a team of three people consisting of an accounting manager, an accounting officer, and another accountant. The accounting team also includes four people responsible for accounts receivable and payable at Lantmännen Biorefineries AB, where you are expected to function as a back-up when needed. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues in an environment characterized by a good atmosphere, helpfulness, and a lack of prestige.

An important part of the role is to contribute to the development and improvement of working methods and processes, where you are expected to be curious, see improvement opportunities, and take your own initiatives.

The roles report to the Accounting Manager and are located in Norrköping.

What You Need to Succeed and Thrive

You have:

• Post-secondary education in finance, for example from YH with relevant work experience, or a university or college degree
• Experience in a similar role with ongoing accounting, year-end closing, and reconciliations from the company side
• Good system familiarity and feel comfortable working in financial systems
• Experience with reporting according to IFRS is an advantage but not a requirement

You are:

• Structured, meticulous, and have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work
• A team player who enjoys working closely with others and contributing to good collaboration
• Flexible and thrive in a broad role where tasks vary
• Analytical and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify and manage discrepancies in accounting
